The Monster Truck Bed

My name is Steve and I enjoy woodworking and my wife Janna likes to paint. So we decided to see what we can do to exercise our talents together. 

I am an engineer in advanced composite fabrication for the aerospace industry and Janna is a homemaker to our four children. Janna enjoys painting and all things artistic. I have been a hobbyist woodworker since 16 years old.  

I have always been drawn to the natural beauty and variation in wood. I love making things and have enjoyed building a capable woodshop. 

Janna enjoys oil painting but has also worked with acrylics and airbrushing. Oil paint is her preferred medium as it allows her to work on a painting in many sittings as she is able to find free time while still blending and being workable after a pause. 

Making things for others has been my biggest inspiration. It's been a joy to make a bed for my bride, a rocking chair for her for our first child, the coolest and most fun beds for our kids, etc.   

Janna comes from a family of accomplished painters. She was inspired by them at an early age and took to art young. She enjoys painting figures and nature.
